Twindogs: Creative Editing and More

New and Ever-Changing

Before I write this entry, I want to clear up any confusion - When I started Twindogs Editing, my name was Jennifer.

In the recent past I had realized that I no longer felt like a Jennifer, and I wanted to remain true to my ever-changing and expanding self. After doing some searching, I found my name: Astra.

Astra is in line with who I am today. I am a Shamanic Wellness Coach, and I work with my clients (humans and animals) to bring balance to their energy and wholeness to their souls.

I find working with energy and souls to be remarkably similar to editing creative writing, which I have done for about 19 years now - I see each piece (or client) as a whole and perfect gem, and then I begin sorting out how I can bring out the best qualities so that the gem can shine even more in its pure and whole state.

If everyone can beging to see eachother as already whole and perfect, and imperfections as simply parts that need to be coaxed out and loved, can you imagine the glow of joy that the earth will hold?

We all are creators. We all are artists and inventors. We all are perfect.

Peace,
Astra

Charge What You're Worth

Hello,

I have just decided to edge up my editing prices a tiny bit. It is scary. I have been charging a very low fee in order to make sure I am affordable to any and all who want my services. But I wasn't really charging what I am worth.

So I slowly scale the mountain and edge up just a wee bit higher towards the apex. The air is getting thinner--but that is okay! I will breathe slower. In fact, I will slow down all together, and take in the experience of the climb.

I can do it! You can do it too!

We are worth our weight in gold and more!

Peace,
Jennifer

We are never alone!

What Am I Waiting For?

Sometimes when I sit down to write, I think of all the millions of other things I could be doing, should be doing, or think that I need to be doing instead of writing.

So when this happens, what is the block keeping me from writing?

It is the fear of reaching my true creative potential.

Why can this be a scary thought for so many of us? What would it mean to reach our true creative potentials? It would mean SUCCESS. And every coin has two sides. Most people feel they have a fear of failure. Well, the flipside to that fear is--Yep--the fear of success!

It may sound strange, but think about it. What would it actually be like to reach our true creative potential and be successful? Why, the more successful we become, the larger our failure, if it were to transpire, would be.

The further we get up the mountain, the longer the fall back down.

And what if we reach the peak? Could we keep up that sort of success on a steady basis? Or would we choke for lack of oxygen, way up there with our heads in the clouds?

The truth is, we won't choke! Not if our feet are still firmly planted on the ground--of our belief in ourselves. Our belief in our dreams. Our belief that we can manifest a life for ourselves that we truly, truly love.

We can do it. It is possible. I do it every day. The more I believe in myself and my ability to manifest, the more good things come in to my life, in multitudes, on a daily basis.

So, what am I waiting for? Excuse me, I need to go write that new article about the Healing Power of Animals (link to come!)....

Happy manifesting!
Jennifer

Creativity is the Main Objective

Welcome to the Twindogs blog, where creativity is the main objective!

When I edit a manuscript, I look to bring out the best in the author and to hone their creative project in to a beautiful gem.

As an editor, as well as a healer (see my healing website: www.wolfwisdom.com), my aim is to help my clients release what is not working in their writing (or their lives, in my healing work).

I assist in bringing out their unique inner voice and casting away any shadows of self-consciousness that stand in their way of shining as the stars they are meant to be.

In this blog I will share tips on bringing out the most creative you that you can be, overcoming fear (fear of failure, fear of success, fear of being seen), and living your unique, creative life...in joy.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to sharing with you all!
